In 2022, the Barak Valley witnessed unprecedented rainfall that left thousands of families displaced. At Royal English Academy, we couldn't sit idle while our neighbors suffered.
The Donation Drive
From our youngest students to our senior faculty and staff members, everyone contributed. The collective effort resulted in a contribution of over ₹26,000. This amount was handed over to Barak Kanta, a well-known social organization and creator group that worked tirelessly on the ground.
Why it mattered
The floods of 2022 were exceptionally high, affecting everyone from small children to local business owners. By partnering with local leaders like Barak Kanta, we ensured that every rupee went directly toward essential supplies, medicines, and food for those trapped in submerged areas.
We are immensely proud of our students who didn't just donate money, but also volunteered their time to coordinate the logistics, proving that Royal English Academy nurtures not just minds, but also hearts.
